I need the following:

Ram air / hillpower aluminium strut brace
ECU with some kind of chip on it (gunner etc) as my car doesnt idle well on piper cams / chip for stanrd cams

didn't you just get rid of a strut brace, are the hillpower / ram air ones better? I got lucky with a gunner and picked one up for a tenna from clio16valver, not had the courage to instal yet though, think I'll get a spare ECU first as not sure of the implications towards immobiliser not working and the like.

I thought it was a fact of uprated cams that idle will be less smooth? I thought it was a trade off against increased full open throttle performance.

Yes less smooth, mine doesnt idle even that well, it cuts out alot. I have a hillpower chip for the piper cams, but there is too much engine vibration at 3500 revs with my solid mounts.

The ram air ones are aluminium, i want one because i am making both my shells identical, so i can swap the shells over. At the moment one of the strut braces is different so the holes are in different places.
