Am looking at attempting this myself rather than driving all the way up to Mats, sorry bud very long way for something else to break on the way back Smiley

Step by step guide with photographs would be awesome.

I will be going a refurb guide on a subframe imminently, but its kind of already off. Maybe we can merge a mega thread of both our projects for a subframe restoration thread.

I will be removing the subframe from 0020 in the summer holidays and will do a guide as and when i do.

When do you need the guide doing? Can it wait until summer hols in a month? Also engine mounts are different, so slightly different technique, but can adapt and modify to suit.

Yes no rush Rob, i intend to do a pictoral effort bit by bit, from that a guide could be composed from what ive done right and modifying what im innevitably going to do wrong

Corrosion, i know its really bad under where the rad sits, but until its off i cant tell how bad, its been flakey and horrible for ages, but being a daily driver I havent the time off to do it
