Just bought the inforad from halfords for 40 quid. It picked up all the gatsos on the way home. Very impressed with it.

It misses a very small amount, but has a feature that you can manually enter them. For 40 quid i recommend this to anyone.

I had a novus picola and it was very good at detecting cameras. It eventually broke, but i would get one again.

Therin lies the problem as I see it - most speed cameras have warning signs anyway and I know where they are on my regular commutes. I'd really want to rely on this in unknown territory, but, the point is defied if there's still a random chance a camera will jump out unnanounced. So either false sence of security, or, still wary of those ones that aren't detected. :/

I think you expect too much. It is just an extra pair of eyes, just in case. I dont drive over the limit on any road at any time by choice, but sometimes you get caught out, which they try to do on purpose. This is just another level of protection from a mafia government that wants your cash one way or another.

On the roads i know i never use it. I just take it on trips i have never done before.
