With the Williams going Im going to have some fun and fix up the body work over the summer. then do the engine over the winter.

What do I keep standard and what to upgrade?

What about the manifold is it worth replacing aftermarkit as it already looks to be a good one?

You will get quite different answers depending on who you ask.

Personally i like a standard Williams. Paper filter, spare wheel on, standard exhaust and cat.

If you want to ruin the handling a good way is to fit 195 50 15 tyres. Another way is to fit some cheap aftermarket suspension like avos.

If anyone comes on this forum and tells you to lower it i will ban them and block their IP address.

I am not going to attempt to convince you to keep it standard and original, because every time someone modifies one, mine get rarer and more exclusive.

Not really, you can gain a few BHP with wilder cams, but not really worth it on a standard car, you wont really notice the power increase.

Just extra expense, something else to go wrong and a further increase in depreciation

To a certain extent im with Rob on this only for economic reasons i have stainless exhaust and foam air filter, i drive like an old fart very rarely going over 4k rpm. I have a williams 2 so for this reason i consider my mild mods acceptable, if ever im lucky enough to get a 1 it would have to be totally standard, ask Mat i was so close to buying a standard exhaust off of him

Lol thats why I dont want to change anything you can see, it already has a exhaust and air filter that I will probly change at some date, and relocate the air filter somewhere cooler.
