Oh dear. Looks like Grodon got it wrong again. Manufacturers arnt going to take a hit if they can pass the cost onto the customer are they Gordon?

When are we going to get to vote this bunch of idiots out?

I have a brother in law who works as admin in local audi, he said scrappage scheme is good providing you get 0% finance over 5 years, trouble is after year 5 you have to pay the amount off in full after the monthly instalments. When scrappage was first introduced msn had a topic for top ten cars not to scrap and the williams was no. 7 or 8.

Given the choice i wouldnt do it, id rather taken wilma off the road and buy something like an old banger to run around in than waaste my money on a new car knowing full well i couldnt save for that final payment in 5 years.

With that final payment they have you by the balls. They know you will refinance.
